Caffeine in tea - Did you know that all tea has caffeine?

There are countless types of tea in the world. Amazingly, they all originate from the same plant, Camellia sinensis. This means that all teas basically contain the same nutrients and caffeine!

Many people think that green tea is the healthiest variety of tea, but the only difference between green and white tea is that the green is steamed, so how could that be? Black tea is also the same leaves from the same bush as green tea, but the leaves are oxidized and therefore have become dark.

The variations in nutrient content and caffeine content can vary, among other things. based on what time of year the leaves were harvested, which part of the plant was used and how nutritious the soil was where the plant grew.
