The sales conditions apply to the sale of goods and services on norges-tehus.no to consumers.
When purchasing products, you have accepted and approved the applicable conditions.
When "we", "our" or "us" is used below, it means norges-tehus.no.
When "you", "you" or "your" are used below, it means the buyer (the person named as the buyer in the order).
To shop at norges-tehus.no, you must have a delivery address in Norway. We store the information in a secure manner and the information will not be accessible to unauthorized persons.
A binding purchase agreement can only be entered into with persons over the age of 15, or with parental approval.
Change of address
You must change the address yourself under "My addresses" on "My page". The address you choose as the default address will be used as the default invoice and delivery address for future purchases, but will not affect existing orders. We send all packages to the delivery address stored on the order when we register your payment.
We must have registered payment before we process the order. We currently offer two options: bank card/credit card or invoice payment through Klarna.
All offers are valid while stocks last.
At norges-tehus.no, there is free shipping on orders over a given order amount. This order amount can be changed without prior notice but not with retroactive effect. Small parcels are normally sent as Parcel in the mailbox, while larger parcels are sent as Service parcel. All with Posten Norge AS.
Terms of delivery
Norges-tehus.no has shipments to all of Norway with the exception of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. The delivery time varies for the individual product, but is usually between 1 and 3 working days after registered payment. We reserve the right to longer delivery times in periods of high traffic with us or our transport partner.
Packages in the letterbox are normally delivered to your letterbox. In some cases, for example if your mailbox is full or the package is too large, you will need to pick up the package at the post office. You will then receive a collection slip in the mailbox.
Service packages are delivered to your post office. Posten sends a collection notification by e-mail and you will also receive a collection notification by SMS if you have selected this in your profile. All shipments with a Service package can be tracked via a link in your order confirmation sent by email when the products have been sent from us.
As a customer, you are obliged to monitor the status of your shipment. Norges-tehus.no is not responsible for issuing a notification about an arrived package. According to its system, Posten returns unclaimed packages after 14 days.
If the package is returned to us because you are not at home at the agreed delivery time, do not pick up the goods, refuse to receive them or have provided an incorrect/insufficient address, the goods will be returned to us at your expense. In such cases, you will be offered to have the order sent again for NOK 69. If you do not pay for new shipping or do not want the shipment to be sent again, you will be charged a processing fee of NOK 200 from the amount paid in addition to return shipping of NOK 69. This also applies if you have provided an incorrect or insufficient address or the package is returned to us for other reasons. Any remaining amount will be credited to your card or account number.
If you ask Posten to return the item, and if you notify us in advance that you are using the right of cancellation within the deadline, you only have to pay for the return cost.
If you receive a damaged shipment, you as a customer must comply with our procedures that apply when receiving a damaged shipment. Send us a message by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then receive a response from one of our case managers who will help you further. Goods that are damaged after being sent by Posten must be presented at the post office and a damage report must be completed.
We always do our best to provide you with correct product information. However, we reserve the right for incorrect product descriptions. We also reserve the right that, for various reasons, stock may become empty.
Complaints and right of withdrawal
All inquiries concerning complaints, damage to goods or errors in delivery must be addressed in writing to email@example.com. You will then receive an answer from one of our case managers as soon as possible.
Right of withdrawal and withdrawal period
You can withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after we have fulfilled our obligation to provide information in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, and the goods and right of withdrawal form have been received.
You must notify us if the right of withdrawal is exercised. The deadline is deemed to have been met if the notification is sent before the expiry of the deadline. There is no formal requirement for the report, but for evidentiary reasons it should be in writing. Send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you make use of the right of withdrawal within the deadline, you must get back what you have paid for the item. The item must be sent back to us before settlement takes place. You must cover the return costs yourself.
The right of withdrawal requires that the goods can be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. This means that you cannot undo the purchase if you have broken the seal on tea packaging or other types of goods that cannot be resold without intact packaging. (other food, etc)
The right of withdrawal gives us the right to charge you if the product has suffered a reduction in value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and/or function of the product. (jr. Ang Angreretten §25).
If an error or defect is discovered, you must notify us in writing within a reasonable time after you have discovered or should have discovered it that you want to claim the defect (complaint).
If there is a defect in the product, and you have complained within the deadline, you can do the following: Withhold the purchase price, under certain conditions choose between rectification and redelivery, demand cancellation of the purchase.

Change in the terms
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions, including as a result of changes in legislation.
Disputes and choice of law
Disputes in connection with the conditions and related provisions, as well as disputes that otherwise concern trading on norgestehus.no follow Norwegian law and fall under the ordinary dispute resolution bodies and courts, with the Oslo District Court as the venue for any proceedings before the district court.

This means that trademarks, company names, product names, information about products, including descriptions of the products, images/graphics, design and layout and other content on the pages cannot be downloaded, copied or used in any other way without this being permitted by legislation or by consent from the Norwegian Tea House.
